2.Job Location

At the beginning, for 2 years, the campus is temporarily in Hainan Lingshui Li’an International Education Innovation Pilot Zone, China.

The final campus will be in Yangpu Economic Development Zone, Danzhou, Hainan, China.

3.Job Title

Specialist for IT and Process Management

4.Job Responsibilities

1) Providing guidance and resolutions to IT (Information Technology) and AV (Audio & Visual) demand

2) Maintain online learning resources in China

3) Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems

4) Cooperate with user groups to identify key information assets and assess risks related to data security management practices to ensure the security operation of the institute.

5) Participate in the information security architecture and requirement design of the university IT infrastructure, and was familiar with the requirements of security management in various stages of the software development life cycle to ensure the security of the system

6) Day-to-day technical monitoring and maintenance of the website ensuring the website is optimied and highly performing

7) Develop the content management system and website to support marketing activities.

8) Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.

9) Provide and support appropriate IT solutions that understand and meet the requirements of the university’s diverse community, with heightened emphasis on teaching and research

5.Job Requirements

1) Strong knowledge of key issues regarding IT Security and Information Risk Management (Data Security, Endpoint Security, Security operations, Data Privacy, security development etc.)

2) Familiar with anti-virus IPS, firewall, vulnerability scanning and other security products;

3) Experience using content management systems and digital publishing tools/software

4) Experience with web analytics applications and tools, such as Google Analtics, Google Webmaster Tools, etc.

5) Demonstrable experience in collecting and analysing data from multiple sources to develop and continually improve website activity and make insightful and sound recommendations

6) Fluent in spoken and written English

7) Fluent German is a plus
