OPEN POSITION AT SKEMA BUSINESS SCHOOL

SKEMA is seeking applicants for a teaching opportunity in French as a foreign language

Program : BBA

Course: French – 36 hours *2 classes =72 hours

Adjunct teacher.

Starting date: September 2020.

Teaching place: International Joint Audit Institute (Newly created), Pukou, Nanjing, China,

Contract: Part-time Contract

Conditions are competitive, in line with international standards.

REQUIREMENTS

The successfull candidate will

Hold a Master degree or above in –French as a foreign language or a related field, from a recognized institution

Have proven ability to deliver quality teaching at different levels (UG, master…) and for a Chinese  audience

Have minimum 3 years of teaching experience in the relevant field, ideally in a higher education institution

Demonstrate experience of teaching & learning innovation

Be able to teach in English (knowledge of Chinese, although not strictly required, would be appreciated)

Be a team player with good communication skills

For non-Chinese citizen, he or she shall have a visa allowing residence and work/professional activity in the People’s Republic of China.

EXPECTATIONS

The successfull candidate will

Prepare and deliver courses in French as a foreign language at different levels

Take part in activities, such as:

Syllabus development and course materials development in line with the overall course and / or program objectives

Creating and deliveringprogress tests and assessments

using technology enhanced learning tools such as K2 (Moodle) to support face-to-face teaching

performing administrative tasks linked to teaching (e.g. completing marksheets, answering students email queries)

The teaching will be assigned to the International Joint Audit Institute, Nanjing Audit University (hereinafter referred to as “International Joint Audit Institute”), jointly established by SKEMA Business School and Nanjing Audit University and approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education, will start to recruit its first batch of students in Mainland China through Gaokao (college entrance examination in China) in July 2020, meaning that the development of SKEMA in China has ushered in a new stage. This four-year full-time undergraduate institute has four tracks: Finance Engineering Auditing, Engineering Management Auditing, Information Management and Information Technology Auditing, Internal Auditing.
