TEACHING OPPORTUNITY OF FINANCIAL REPORTING AND ANALYSIS for MSc Program

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate shall have a University Degree (Master degree or above), and minimum three years’ teaching experience in relevant field in a higher education institution, and/or five years’ of international management practice or successful entrepreneurial experience. A good knowledge and practice of international financial reporting and analysis will be appreciated, particularly in China. A visa allowing residence and work/professional activity in the People’s Republic of China is required for non-Chinese citizen.

Our students are international and have high expectations of their courses. We run continuous assessment throughout the semesters to track students’ progress. 

As part of the teaching team, you can expect to take part in activities, such as:

•     Syllabus development and materials development

•     Creating and evaluating progress tests and assessments

•     Other benefits and arrangements as SK faculty member

COURSE REQUIREMENT

Designed for 18 hours, this course has two objectives:

- Participants will be introduced to accounting standards and financial statement presentations, including differences between American, British, Chinese and continental European financial statement design and logic.

- Providing a complete overview of financial analysis. The goal is to train participants to analyze corporate economic reality from published accounting reports and to take strategic positions on the basis of such reports.
