TEACHING OPPORTUNITY OF HISTORY AND CULTURE OF CHINA for Bachelor Program

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate shall have a University Degree (Master degree or above), and minimum three years’ teaching experience in relevant field in a higher education institution, and/or five years’ of international management practice or successful entrepreneurial experience. A good knowledge and practice of history and culture of China will be appreciated, particularly in China. A visa allowing residence and work/professional activity in the People’s Republic of China is required for non-Chinese citizen.

Our students are international and have high expectations of their courses. We run continuous assessment throughout the semesters to track students’ progress. 

As part of the teaching team, you can expect to take part in activities, such as:

•     Syllabus development and materials development

•     Creating and evaluating progress tests and assessments

•     Other benefits and arrangements as SK faculty member

COURSE REQUIREMENT

Designed for 39 hours, this course is intended to give a complete if-possible vision of the Chinese culture, through presentations of the history of the country, a general presentation of Chinese customs and habits (language, art, cuisine, tea culture, festivals, martial arts, clothes etc.) The final goal of this course is, by integrating some aspects of the Chinese culture, to give to the student a chance to better interact with Chinese colleagues in a professional environment, to better interact with Chinese friends and neighbors in their personal lives.
