Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The appointee is expected to handles various responsibilities to support the administration of the School. Essential responsibilities include:
1. To work with faculty in supporting students at school level, dealing with students academically at-risk;
2. To build and maintain a strong collaborative partnership with staff team and various internal and external units to foster students’ growth;
3. To provide secretariat support to a number of school’s committees;
4. To perform other administrative duties to support the School and the University when assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. A Bachelor or above degree; at least five years of related experience, preferably in the tertiary education industry. (Candidates with less relevant experience will be considered for the Executive Officer rank.)
2. Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, be familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.);
3. The ability to work independently, show initiative and take full responsibility for completion of tasks, and be attentive to details;
4. A good team player with outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills;
5. The ability to work under pressure.
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
